Life Before 30

source: Pinterest
I will be soon 30, next year. And I am really scared. I have live for almost 3 decades now. I feel like I have mount to nothing yet.

I remember when I was younger, 17-20, I always thought that when I am 30 I would have my own apartment, my own car, my own kid (single with kid, I used to want to adopt kid while still single..was not really into marriage then). So many other things that I thought I would have achieved before 30.

And now, a year before I reach 30. I got no car, no apartment, no kid, and still not a manager of a company or something.

Have I regret everything? Should I started thinking what is gone wrong that I am still not where I should be?

But I am not. I don't regret a thing. Sure, I still want those things I mentioned above. But it was no longer my priority. I want to travel more, I want to have more adventure, I want to learn more, I might want to go back to school.

Definitely I didn't regret where I am and what I have accomplished so far. I am here after I jumped through hoops and barriers with a few scratches here and there.

I am now married to a very nice man, working in a prestigious company with decent salary, has traveled to several countries several times, have a freedom to do pretty much what I want within boundaries, constantly learning one or two new things, lose some friend and get some more friends.

When it comes the time that I reach 30. I would gracefully welcome it with a smile. Shivering with excitement and fear. But I am ready to go out of my comfort zone.

Married Life: 10 Things My Husband Has To Get Used To

Married life was not always pretty. Married life was not always full of fights or loves. It has much more than that. It is more complex than computer software. What do I know? I just get married like 2 months ago.

But let me share our married life stories (with censor, obviously!)

It has been 2 months, we are married couple now. There are things that we already know since we were dating (for 2 and a half years). But there are still a lot more other things that we didn't know before that.

On this post, I will share about things that my husband has to get used to since he decided to marry me.

1. Farting

We have been dating for more than 2 years, but I managed to hold my fart. So I was never found farting in front of him. The first week of us getting married, we celebrated by having farting competition. As the farting girl that I am, I won the competition and got the title 'The Farting Girl'.

2. Hairs on the floor

It might comes as a shock but living with woman means you need to get used to seeing hairs on the floor. Yup, our hair has the ability to unattached it self from the scalp. It will clogged the shower drain, it will be on the bed, or on the floor. You will find it more before or during period and stressful time.

3. Closet War

Simple really, woman has more clothes than man. The war of the closet zone was divided fairly. By fair, I mean he got 1/8 of the area which is one single section while I got 4 other single sections and the hanger area and drawers too. Fair enough!

4. Make up Disaster

It is normal to find vanity mirror full of make up/cosmetics. Nope, that pencil is not for you to write, it is for me to draw my eyebrow and I will not leave the house with my eyebrow drew nicely.

Man: Can I borrow your pencil? (holding something in hand)
Woman: (saw his hand) Aaaaaak No!!! That is not pencil. That is my eyebrow pencil!!!

5. Underwear Festivity

Ever wonder why I hanged so many undies after washing it? Dear, there is never too many underwear. Given the situation that we bleed once a month for a whole week and it was advised to change underwear twice a day.
2 bags full of underwear (Panties and Bras)

6. Water Resistance

I don't like wasting water on weekend. So, my husband has to deal with the fact that I might shower only once a day and I would do it later on the evening, unless I have other occasion to go to.

7. The Time of The Month

Recently, my husband trying to cope up with a screaming wife due to her excruciating pain during PMS. He is always panicked every time the menstrual cramp come knocking. He has been googling lots of information on how to ease up the pain or what to do to make it go away. He has lots of curiosity about how exactly it works. At one point, I have been lecturing him on the subject. He is so supporting. He doesn't mind going to the store to buy pain reliever, menstrual pad, and other female related needs.

8. Durian Smells

I love Durian. I ate a lot of durian since I was little. It is good that he likes durian. Otherwise, deal with it. I will eat durian as often as I want.
This is Love.

9. Sleeping Zone

Fortunately, I sleep like a princess. Not too much unnecessary movement. But I have a tendency to kick-boxing anyone who tried to hug/cuddle me during sleep. (Ooops sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you this morning.)

10. Drama

Had a fight with mom? Expect drama!
Had period or PMS? Expect drama!
Feeling like shopping but no money? Expect drama!
My fav guy got killed on the movie/series? Expect drama!

And that is why I love my husband for being able to get used to and stand by me despite all that.

Will update the post with Married Life: 10 Things I Have To Get Used To later.

See ya,

Suci

Review: Glam Glow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

Hi Chicas,

It has been a while since last week when I posted a quick review on EM Life Palette (Love Life). Now I am back with a new review of Glam Glow YouthMud. I am sure some of my fellow blogger and beauty gurus already put/wrote a review on this product. So, this one is basically my personal experience and opinion after using it twice.

I got this product from the Giant who came visiting from America. So, i got it for a cheaper price around 35$ from Amazon. The Indonesian price for this product is around 70$, twice the original price.

Here it is the packaging and unboxing it;

It says on the box that it contains;
1. Youth formula
2. Natural Ingredients
3. For All skin types
4. For Men and Women
5. Paraben Free
6. Vegan and No Animal Cruelty

I was quite surprise when I opened the packaging. I got a message from Glam Glow that made my day.
It says "Hello Sexy" yeaaaay!!!

Left: First Time
Right: Second Time

Before (Left) & After (Right)

2nd Try (Left) & Before 1st Try (Right)

I believe I don't even have to say anything. Despite of the different lightning, I am sure you can see the different on the before, after, and after 2nd try. So far, I am loving it. However, for a girl with low pain tolerance, the tingling feels a bit stronger than I would expect. I am sure it is nothing for most people. But I am always be that girl who scream in massage parlor or beauty parlor when they give me scrub treatment or back massage treatment during cream bath routine. I have low tolerance of pain, lower than most people. so, I am pretty sure the tingle feeling might not be that strong or that annoying to most people.

Love:
1. The Packaging
2. The message of "Hello Sexy"
3. The ingredients
4. The effect on my skin

Less:
1. The smell is a bit too strong for me.
2. The tingle feeling
3. The price (if I have to buy it in Indonesia)

I will let you to decide whether it is worth the price or not and whether it is worth to buy or not. I hope you will have a wonderful experience using it too.

Have a Wonderful Day, Wonderful People

Khiel's Feel The Power in Seibu, Grand Indonesia

Hi Y'all...

Have a great time on your weekend? I hope you do. I decided to stay in today since I already made unnecessary expenses for the past couple of days. So, I thought I would just write a blog about yesterday experience to Khiel's in Seibu Grand Indonesia.

I am sure you know Khiel's latest program "Feel The Power". Here is the picture.
Basically what you have to do is visit their website, like their facebook and vote for their lab design as a part of their charity program. You can visit them in this link;
Facebook Kiehls Indonesia
However, this program will end this 15th November. So, I went to Khiel's to redeem my coupon number there yesterday right after I watched Carrie, a new movie of Chloe Moretz.

There was only one guy in Khiel's. He checked my skin with a cute test paper. He found out that I have no problem with my skin nor I need an anti aging. He said my skin is still perfectly fine and I have nothing to worry about. I just have to keep a good maintenance and take care of it. He gave me 3 samples, 1 for each sample of toner, cleanser, and rescuer. Then I asked him nicely to give me 2 sachets for each samples. He was nice to give me 2 samples for cleanser and toner. Too bad they were run out of rescuer.

I have never tried Khiel's before. But going there and get a good welcoming attitude, I gotta say I would consider to buy next time. I will try the sample first but so far it is all look quite promising that I might going back to buy their stuff.

These are the samples that I got yesterday;
Have you redeem your coupon too? If you haven't, do it soon before 15th November by visiting Khiel's store in Seibu Grand Indonesia or Lotte Avenue. I tried Khiel's store in Plaza Senayan, but I just found out that this promotion only works for those 2 stores I mentioned above.

Enjoy your weekend ladies and/or my awesome readers!
